INSIDE THE ASHRAM

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I know of is the Osho Ashram, or Osho International Meditation Center as it now is called. It is situated in Pune, India, about four hours drive southeast of Mumbai. First time I was there was from mid Dec 2003 to mid Jan 2004, second time a couple of weeks in Feb 2009. Time is spent with meditations and being in the beauty of nature, in joy and silence. Coming to the pulsating 5 million people town of Pune, it is just marvellous to find this place not far from the center in a part of the town called Koregoan Park

Photographing is not allowed but of course I couldn´t resist taking a few pictures with my small compact when people were far away and I was certain not to disturb anyone. So these are all taken Feb 2009 with a Canon Ixus 960 and technically far from perfect
